Video Games

I have been working as a game designer and developer since 2018 for studios of varying sizes. I specialize in level and system design, as well as being an experienced Unity developer.

Sunderfolk - 2025

Project Overview Sunderfolk is a shared, turn-based tactical RPG adventure where your phone becomes the controller. Inspired by the feeling of gathering around a table with friends, it emphasizes couch co-op play, with up to four players adventuring across the magical and dangerous Sunderlands.

My Role As a Designer & Developer, I contributed across multiple areas to support both the early gameplay experience and the development of the vertical slice. My work spanned level design, systems design, and narrative implementation, focusing on player onboarding, tactical class design, and polish for investor-facing builds.

Farming Simulator Kids

Farming Simulator Kids introduces the growing generation to the colorful and fun world of farming and blooming nature – educating and entertaining them in a child-friendly and sheltered environment. Suited for all ages and easy to play.

As a Junior Unity Developer, I contributed to several core features supporting both technical functionality and child-friendly user experience. My work focused on systems that made the game accessible, expressive, and engaging for its intended audience.

Verdent Engine

Verdant Engine is a single-player strategy roguelike, where the player controls a massive mech that a plant-like entity has possessed. The mech has a garden growing atop of its chassis, and the placement of plants influences its combat capabilities.

Verdant Engine is a single-player, turn-based tactics game inspired by Into the Breach and Plants vs. Zombies. As lead developer, I scripted all core combat systems, GUI, and internal design tools. I built dynamic logic for plants, weapons, and artifacts, and created tools to streamline content creation for our designer. I also designed several gameplay systems with a focus on strategic depth and implemented a robust event system to support the game's roguelike, content-rich structure.

Doom Scoller

Doom Scroller is a fast-paced, two-player cooperative endless runner. One player controls a robot navigating an alien-infested spaceship, while the second player uses a mechanical claw to place platforms and manipulate the environment in real time. Inspired by Cuphead and Jetpack Joyride, the game emphasizes coordination, rhythm, and communication as players escape the looming threat of alien pursuers.

As a Programmer & Technical Designer, I focused on building the game’s core systems and ensuring both players’ mechanics felt distinct yet cohesive. I translated design concepts into functional code, iterated based on playtesting, and supported the team in refining gameplay through agile processes.

Changeling

Changeling is a narrative VR game currently being developed by RIT faculty and students. While working on the game, I was involved in Level design and Game development using Unreal 5.

"You receive a peculiar phone call from a mother asking for your help, seeking your expertise as a detective. Her baby has stopped responding and showing emotion, but doctors can't find anything wrong with them. She begs for any help she can get to figure out what is wrong with her child. As you get into a cab to the family’s apartment, you wonder if your powers of dream-walking can help."

Elemental Convergence

I was a systems designer and Unity developer for this project as part of the 2020 Global Game Jam. The game is available here.

In this deck-building strategy card game, you and two friends must utilize the forces of the elements to restore a dying world. Use an intricate system of elemental interactions to extend your grasp over the board and permanently change the landscape. Choose to either work together with your friends to bring balance and harmony or work against them and achieve total elemental dominance!

Thunder Boat

This is a personal project developed in Unity using C#.

Thunder Boat is an endless runner game that, using Arduino, is played by using a drum kit as a controller. In the thunder boat, players navigate a physically accurate floating boat with accurate buoyancy. To move the boat, players hit the left and right drums, moving the boat according to their hits. Beating the drum in time with the game's rhythm will multiply the points received and speed, while colliding with a rock on the river banks will make the player lose.
